Dharwad: Today, I’ll share a series of images that tell a disturbing story: how the pursuit of development can leave deep scars on Mother Nature. What we call progress often comes at a price, forests cleared, landscapes altered, rivers disturbed and habitats lost. Through these images, I hope to draw attention to what is quietly being sacrificed in the name of development. "The Forest That Refused to Disappear" I deliberately embraced a hazy, blurred rendition while capturing this landscape—not to obscure the scene, but to express what it felt like. The indistinct forms, wavering trunks and softened reflections make the forest appear almost like a fading memory. These dead trees, standing silently in the water, are remnants of a forest that once breathed with life.
