Bengaluru: As part of the three-day Triphal Diversity show-2024 at ICAR-IIHR, the institute organised an Innovative fruit recipe competition. The institute has invited public participants to showcase the innovative recipes made using the theme fruits (Mango-Jackfruit-Banana). Around 20 people registered for this event and showcased different kinds of innovative recipes prepared by them. The recipes were judged by a qualified panel consisting of senior experts who judged the recipes based on diversified criteria such as visual appearance, taste, texture, innovation, use of theme ingredient, display/ plating, garnish and oral presentation. Among Mango recipes Mrs Janaki has bagged first place for preparing raw mango khatta, Ms Pooja R has bagged 1st place for Jackfruit recipe (Jack seed laddu) and Shri. Vinod S. has bagged 1st place for the Banana recipe- Banana Payasam. The competition winners shall be awarded during the valedictory program to be held on the event's last day (
