Sushil I. Tarbar's 'Nature in Abstraction' Presents a Visual Treat

Bengaluru:  Nature in Abstraction is the concept of Sushil I Tarbar's landscape cum abstract paintings exhibition, currently underway at Gallery No 1 in Karnataka Chitra Kala Parishat, here. An unusual combination:  Prof Babu Jattakar, former principal of the College of Fine Arts, Karnataka Chitra Kala Parishat and well-known artist, inaugurated the exhibition by lighting the lamp. He showered praises on the artworks on display and opined that, usually, you find neither landscape paintings nor abstract paintings. However, Sushil I Tarbar has given a different visual treat altogether by combining both landscape and abstract formats. To a different world of its own:  R Suri, veteran septuagenarian artist and Member of Karnataka Lalit Kala Akademi, another guest of the evening, was highly appreciative of the quality of works in the show.
