Gauri Savadi conquers Mongolia’s highest peak Tawn Bogdi

Gauri Savadi has done it again. This time around she’s back in the news for climbing one of the highest mountains in Mongolia. She accomplished the feat on 26 June by trekking the mountainous stretch walking almost incessantly and that too for a prolonged period of 24 hours:

Tawn Bogdi: Gauri Savadi climbed the Tawan Bogdi, a mountain of Mongolia, nearby the triple border along with China and Russia. Its highest peak called the Khuiten Peak, is the highest point in Mongolia at 4374 meters above sea level.

Gods must have been crazy! In her reminiscence on making the dream come true, Gauri Savadi becomes an introvert and a poet of her own. She exclaims:

Gods must have been crazy when they put our world together!

And then they make humans who want to conquer it all.

Titanic was meant to sink - so be it!

Highs lows depths vastness wilderness sand snow the seas the sky our WORLD n more

What does one achieve putting self through arduous journeys - is one truly trying to figure self out, take on a challenge, if to prove it then to whom?

The why’s of what anyone does truly only matters to them?

Our realities no matter what they may be, will never match.

N I say why should they?

Hence, Heyie why not?!

Just do it ALL!

Colour of urine on snow,

Of coffee,

Of tea,

Of coke and now

I have seen that of blood.

What action does one take at that split second decides if one will choose fight or flee?

Highest peak in Mongolia along with 4 more have conquered me this June of 2023.

Huffing stepping breathing no thoughts no emotions one just walks for up to 24 hours straight!

Gods must be crazy when they made the grit in these humans

As tears form they disappear in assurance for this journey truly was yours.

No one - no one but yes mine.

A ruthless world to be on your own is all that it is.

No one cares, or wants to care.

You decide you manage you make it happen.

If you can’t they say goodbye for all have to return home.

You - you - you are on your own!

Gods must be crazy when they put emotions into humans

To be or not to be

To do or not to do

To walk or not to walk

To speak or not to speak

To choose or not to choose

To shed or not to shed

To Admire To Follow To Respect

To be YOU

Gods must be crazy when they made this world, for this world belongs to each

Paul Mamu becomes part of Dharwad's history

People originally from Dharwad and most of whom migrated decades ago elsewhere across the state, country and world in search of green pastures were in for a sudden shock since late evening on Monday. They all shared similar sentiments, fond moments and profound grief in the passing away of Paul Cardoza of the renowned Hotel PAUL’S at Vidyagiri. He was 69 years old and not at all an age for his generation to bid adieu. Walks to Death: Paul Cardoza was a little bit hefty for his height and age; otherwise there were no visible symptoms to hint of any ailments he had been challenged with. Even on the fateful day, he attended to the chores in the hotel until the afternoon before proceeding to neighbour Hubballi for a cardiac test. It is said that he literally walked to the health check-up facility to undergo the examination. No, he was not destinated for it as he suffered a massive stroke and never to recover! A jovial personality: In the passing away of Paul Cardoza Dharwad has lost one o
