Facts prove Fear to be the biggest Virus rather than the Coronavirus itself!

Probably anyone reading the headline of this article may try to find fault with the person who has filed this copy and even if they come to the conclusion that something is seriously ailing the mental health of the writer, they are not wrong in their assertions if one were to follow the public perceptions now afloat in the media and social networking sites ever since the deadly Coronavirus has made its presence felt on the globe. As long as the Wuhan originated virus restricted its devastating effect only in that region of China, perhaps no one else ever bothered about its possible spread elsewhere. In that way, people, by and large, kept their cool and once in a while also felt bad for the casualties in the Communist nation. However, this solace appeared only to be a temporary respite and the fatal attack of the pandemic spread like wildfire thus sending shock waves across the world, irrespective of the nations and their well being materialistically and monetarily. Since then infectio

Corona paves way for old age parents become destitute!

Probably there is no section of the society which hasn't been adversely affected by the killer Coronavirus like never before in their lifetime. If the migrant labourers were forced to flee from their workplaces back home so were millions of daily wage earners whose life was thrown out of gear suddenly due to the deadly pandemic. The after-effects of the Wuhan originated virus is in fact, literally engulfing the very existence of the society crumbling its age-old system of good societal norms and practices which the Indian society boasted of to the entire world until recently.Initially, most of the parents wanted their kith and kins working in different towns and cities of the country and abroad back home to ensure their safe well being rather than be at the mercy of the chaotic situation now prevailing all over. But such parental yearning was only for a short period of time and as conditions appeared to change for better, they transformed themselves to become more practical rather

Corona at our doorsteps, fear doctors and health workers

The Coronavirus pandemic after rattling the common people belonging to different walks of life now looks like threatening the very lives of the life-giving and rescuing doctors and health workers at large following many casualties in the health sector across the country and elsewhere on the globe. image: economic times According to the Indian Medical Association(IMA), the parental body of the medical fraternity 93 doctors on COVID duty have died so far. Dr Ranjan Sharma, head of IMA has disclosed: 1,279 doctors have been tested positive so far. Among them, 771 doctors are less than 35 years of age, 247 doctors above the age of 35 years and 261 above the age of 50 years. Interestingly these numbers do not include the health workers like Nurses, Para-Medical staff and related workers. However, the IMA is working on a research paper to find out the causes leading to the deaths. Probably these findings may throw further light on the exact reasons for the fatalities and infections becoming

Covid-19: It's your life, so take care of yourself, advise Doctors

P robably there is nothing that people haven't discussed, shared and debated about the deadly Coronavirus pandemic ever since the first lockdown 1:0 was imposed across the country from 24 March onwards. However, irrespective of what is being pondered over and exchanged over SMSes, WhatsApp and similar social networking sites and in-person not much seems to have changed at the public behaviour in general! The same sort of opinion holds good with those in the administration and the political bosses adorning power seats. There seems to be no rationale between what is being publicly perceived and practised at large. Day in and day out the local, regional, state and central governments continue to bombard the people on what all that needs to be done to keep the Coronavirus at bay. On the contrary, the same authorities continue to act paradoxically giving little credence to their own oft-repeated public pronouncements. Much worse, every public activity, civic, public and business have al

Dr Gowtham Kulamarwa had a big shocking surprise recently for he got a call from none other than Bharat Ratna Lata Mangeshkar to congratulate him for the video he did to salute the Medical fraternity, soldiers and cops for their contribution and sacrifices in the ongoing war against the deadly Coronavirus pandemic. Along with them, he also included the cutaways of heroic soldiers who laid down their lives on the international borders at the hands of enemy soldiers and m

Lockdown motivates companies to look for alternatives

T he deadly Coronavirus pandemic has by and largely devastated the lives of ordinary mortals apart from affecting industries big and small in general. It has left no sector unaffected and as a result crores of workers are forced to undergo big havoc unseen and unheard of in their lifetime! Despite such adverse conditions, some companies have gone out of the way to keep going in a minuscule manner possible and at the same time contribute their mite towards the war against combating the killer virus. Aditya Auto Products and Engineering Limited is one such company having manufacturing facility at the Doddaballapur Industrial area on the outskirts of Bengaluru which deserves mention for its innovative ways in performing even during a perplexing condition full of odds all the way.According to Suresh Sethuraman, CFO of Aditya Auto Products and Engineering Ltd. company, they thought of producing Assisted Respirators taking into consideration the huge shortage of Artificial Respiratory System

Covid-19 hits a fatal stroke to less fortunate mortals

T he living animals market of Wuhan province in China generated deadly killer Coronavirus pandemic was brought under control in the country it was originated within 3-4 months of its occurrence. But its fatal tentacles spread like wildfire across the globe developing itself into a nightmare to the human race on earth. Thanks to the callousness of the men in power the citizens of the United States, Italy and many other Western and European countries faced the brunt by sacrificing many of their fellow beings. Interestingly India initially boasted of a very good situation in combating the epidemic in terms of loss of human lives. In comparison to many other so-called well developed industrious nations boasting of tremendous GDP growth and most modern medical infrastructure, India, on the contrary with the least possible health facilities braved the onslaught of the viral menace with a lesser rate of infections and negligible numbers of casualties going by the big size of the population

Relaxing of lockdown will lead to spurt in Covid-19 cases, warn health experts

W hen the whole world is embroiled and perplexed with the challenges entangled in combating the deadly China originated Coronavirus pandemic the country is now faced with the woes of relaxing lockdown stipulations. Interestingly these measures are being thought of when there is a gradual surge in the number of infections and fatalities connected with the Covid-19! Thanks to multidimensional adversities as a result of the lockdown, the Government sources put forth their pathetic plight due to unseen and unheard recession, economic slowdown and shutting down of all manufacturing units paving way to total loss of regular resources while on the other hand exhausting available funds for the welfare of less privileged citizens. image : The Economic Times However, this desperate situation on the part of the government leading to relaxation of complete lockdown measures has also given rise to a paradoxical condition which the health experts foresee bound to culminate into a much more

Covid-19 casualties to be less post lockdown say, experts

T hanks to lifting down of stringent measures as part of the preventive action for the containment of the deadly Coronavirus pandemic the decision has given ample scope for divergent views about the pros and cons of the same. image: Deccan Herald Probably what has gone unnoticed is the plain fact that the killer virus originating from Wuhan, the capital city of the Hubei province in Central China with a population of 1.1 crore despite rattling the country of origin and spreading like a wildfire elsewhere didn’t have any devastating effect initially in India. But that solace was only short-lived. It was a different situation once people of Indian origin visiting other countries slowly started heading to their home country individually and in big groups. These foreign returnees were the prime suspects as they were the first reported infection cases. Later most of the foreign nationals attending the Tablighi Jamat Markaz visiting different parts of the country became the official c

Kerala leads the country in lifting the lockdown

The tiny coastal state of Kerala spreading all across the Arabian sea is again in news, this time for enough good reasons and that too during the deadly Coronavirus pandemic haunting all over the globe and unnerving the so-called superpowers and developed Western nations! Pinarayi Vijayan, Kerala Chief Minister has cleared the desks for the lifting of lockdown in all the 14 districts from tomorrow barring the Covid-19 hotspot areas, thereby accomplishing the unique feat of becoming the first state in the country to do so. image: livemint.com In fact, the distinction of being the first state in the whole of the country in rising to the occasion by waking up with stern measures to combat the fatal virus infections also deservedly goes to the same Kerala state which boasts of many other accomplishments in other spheres of life. The whole state has been divided into four zones depending upon the proportion of Corona infections. These zones have been classified as Red, Orange-A, Ora

Indians look to be waiting for a major catastrophe to happen?

I t looks as though people of the country are far far away from being serious of the consequences of the deadly Coronavirus if at all it spreads like a wildfire at the community level, going by the behaviour of moving around freely. Despite being the fifth day of the national lockdown, the general public irrespective of the towns, cities and states they belong to tend to take rescue in the same pattern of unwanted, unwarranted and more dangerous way of loitering around whether genuinely required or not. In fact, this tendency of behaviour is not being noticed for the first time either. That seems to be the order of the day ever since the Janata Curfew was declared to be observed on last Sunday 22 March. It appears people have no thought on the precautionary measures initiated by the state and central governments in their own interest and the interests of the society and country at large. Though it has been made crystal clear that the emergency services like water, milk, electricity
