Facts prove Fear to be the biggest Virus rather than the Coronavirus itself!

Probably anyone reading the headline of this article may try to find fault with the person who has filed this copy and even if they come to the conclusion that something is seriously ailing the mental health of the writer, they are not wrong in their assertions if one were to follow the public perceptions now afloat in the media and social networking sites ever since the deadly Coronavirus has made its presence felt on the globe.

As long as the Wuhan originated virus restricted its devastating effect only in that region of China, perhaps no one else ever bothered about its possible spread elsewhere. In that way, people, by and large, kept their cool and once in a while also felt bad for the casualties in the Communist nation.

However, this solace appeared only to be a temporary respite and the fatal attack of the pandemic spread like wildfire thus sending shock waves across the world, irrespective of the nations and their well being materialistically and monetarily.

Since then infections have become omnipresent and likewise the preys of the pandemic. Initially, a few Western developed countries underwent real brunt and paid a huge price in terms of human lives including people belonging to all strata and the poor treating doctors who were only performing their duties. But that was only a beginning and as the rich and developed societies continued to crumble while the virus rattled its way butchering human beings like tiny insignificant creatures. Till date, the virus continues to have the last laugh in the absence of a proven medicine nor any vaccine which can check the real spread.

As a result, the positive cases and deaths appear to be let loose on vulnerable mortals. The number of those testing positive and becoming victims is making a steady increase and at the same time, infected people boasting of better immunity continue to recover and are getting discharged from the treatment/quarantine centres/hospitals and other such facilities specially set up. Their numbers aren't all that bad neither too good to be content of.

Let us have a glance at the Corona related deaths in comparison to mortalities due to other ailments:

The number of deaths in the world in the last 3 months of 2020

3,14,687 : Corona virus

3,69,602 : Common cold

3,40,584 : Malaria

3,53,696 : suicide

3,93,479 : Road Accidents

2,40,950 : HIV

5,58,471 : Alcohol

8,16,498: Smoking

11,67,714: Cancer

Even after glancing these facts and figures which speak for themselves, whether you wish to believe that Corona is more dangerous or not is left to your discretion and wise decision.

At the same time, many questions continue to raise with a lot of concern: Then is the purpose of the present media campaign to settle the trade war between China and America?

Or

To reduce financial markets to prepare the stage for mergers and acquisitions

Or

To sell US Treasury bonds to cover the fiscal deficit in them

Or

Is it a Panic created by Pharma companies to sell their products like sanitizer, masks, medicine etc.

Health experts continue to reiterate: Do not Panic & don't kill yourself with unnecessary fear. This posting is to balance your newsfeed from posts that caused fear and panic.

33,38,724 People are sick with Coronavirus at the moment, of which 32,00,000 are abroad. This means that if you are not in or haven't recently visited any foreign country, this should eliminate 95% of your concern.

If you do contact Coronavirus, this still is not a cause for panic because:

81% of the Cases are MILD

14% of the Cases are MODERATE

Only 5% of the Cases are CRITICAL

Which means that even if you do get the virus, you are most likely to recover from it.

Some have said, “but this is worse than SARS and SWINE FLU!” SARS had a fatality rate of 10%, Swine flu 28% while COVID-19 has a fatality rate of 2%

Moreover, looking at the ages of those who are dying of this virus, the death rate for the people UNDER 55 years of age is only 0.4%

This means that: if you are under 55 years of age and don't live out of India - you are more likely to win the lottery (which has a 1 in 45,000,000 chance)
Let's take one day ie 1 May as an example when Covid 19 took lives of 6406 in the world.
On the same day:

26,283 people died of Cancer

24,641 people died of Heart Disease

4,300 people died of Diabetes

Suicide took 28 times more lives than the virus did.

Mosquitoes kill 2,740 people every day, HUMANS kill 1,300 fellow humans every day, and Snakes kill 137 people every day. (Sharks kill 2 people a year)

SO DO THE DAILY THINGS TO SUPPORT YOUR IMMUNE SYSTEM, PROPER HYGIENE AND DO NOT LIVE IN FEAR.

Join to Spread Hope instead of Fear.

The Biggest Virus is not Corona Virus but Fear!

Paul Mamu becomes part of Dharwad's history

People originally from Dharwad and most of whom migrated decades ago elsewhere across the state, country and world in search of green pastures were in for a sudden shock since late evening on Monday. They all shared similar sentiments, fond moments and profound grief in the passing away of Paul Cardoza of the renowned Hotel PAUL’S at Vidyagiri. He was 69 years old and not at all an age for his generation to bid adieu. Walks to Death: Paul Cardoza was a little bit hefty for his height and age; otherwise there were no visible symptoms to hint of any ailments he had been challenged with. Even on the fateful day, he attended to the chores in the hotel until the afternoon before proceeding to neighbour Hubballi for a cardiac test. It is said that he literally walked to the health check-up facility to undergo the examination. No, he was not destinated for it as he suffered a massive stroke and never to recover! A jovial personality: In the passing away of Paul Cardoza Dharwad has lost one o

Priest on his own inclination: Dr Godwin Shiri himself voluntarily opted for the priestly vocation of becoming a Pastor at a young age, much against the wishes of his family.
